Security and the Checkout Process

Gulf Sportscards is fully committed to PCI compliance and providing all of our customers with a secure checkout solution. We DO NOT store any credit card or financial data on our servers. The credit card information used for payment is posted directly to our merchant gateway, Stripe using the WooCommerce Stripe Direct Payment Gateway that is compatible with our shopping cart solution.

The Stripe Payment Gateway handles all the steps in the secure transaction while remaining virtually transparent, thus simplifying PCI compliance.

Customer data is protected with 128-bit SSL encryption.
Digital fingerprints enhance security, providing multiple layers of authentication. You can read more details on the way the secure checkout works on the Stripe page as well. 

II. Privacy Policy 

Gulf Sportscards respects the privacy concerns of the visitors to Gulf Sportscards (the “Web Site”). As a general policy, no personal information is automatically collected from users of the site. In the event that we do collect any personally identifiable data about visitors to this site, that information is only collected on a voluntary basis, and it is only known to Gulf Sportscards. 

Certain non-personal information of visitors (for example, the type of browser being used by the visitor, the type of operating system in use by the visitor and the domain name of the visitor’s Internet service provider) is recorded by the standard operation of Gulf Sportscards  

Internet servers. This information is primarily used for internal purposes, and only in an aggregate and non-personally-identifying form. However, Gulf Sportscards sometimes does provide this information, in aggregate and non-personally identifying form, to other parties for marketing, advertising or other use. Personally identifiable information may be collected by Gulf Sportscards when Web Site visitors voluntarily provide this information (including when visitors fill out contest entry forms, subscribe to newsletters/information bulletins or participate in other types of promotions). All such personal information is retained by Gulf Sportscards and is not sold or otherwise transferred outside the company unless we obtain the user’s express consent to do so or if we are required by law or by court/governmental order to disclose such information in a particular circumstance. This information is used by Gulf Sportscards for internal marketing and promotional purposes, in order to better understand the use of our sites and to support promotions included on these sites, as well as to enhance user enjoyment during the on-line experience. This data, in aggregate, non-personally-identifying form, may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising or other uses. We sometimes also use e-mail addresses and other personally identifying information to contact visitors who communicate with us. For example, we direct e-mail to visitors who provide us with their e-mail addresses for specific purposes such as receiving our e-mail newsletters/bulletins or being notified if they have won one of our contests. Each e-mail newsletter or bulletin contains instructions on how to discontinue receipt of the newsletter or bulletin. This site contains links to other Web sites. Gulf Sportscards is not responsible for the privacy policies and practices or the content of such Web sites. 

III. Purchase Information
 
You will receive all cards from the team you select or are assigned in the case of a random break. THE CARDS WILL BE DELIVERED ACCORDING TO THE TEAM NOTED ON THE CHECKLIST. The team stated for the player for THAT product will be the reference, NOT past teams, most prominent career at X team, or by the jersey that player is wearing on the image. Ownership will solely be dictated by the official checklist provided by Topps, Panini, etc.

Double sales do happen to the amount of traffic we get on our site. We go by whomever bought them first with the lowest order number. Order numbers can be provided via request.

IV. Shipping & Delivery Policy 

All products are shipped within 3-5 business days. Gulf Sportscards is not responsible for items that are lost or damaged in shipment. Gulf Sportscards is also not responsible for the “perceived”  value of the card. We can only go by what the hobby box sells for and what the break spot costs.

VI. Skunking or Not getting hits in breaks 

Gulf Sportscards does not provide any protection for “skunking,” or not getting hits in breaks. By purchasing a spot price, you are expressly consenting to such a possibility pursuant to the random nature of sealed sports card products.

VII. Multiplayer Cards On any hits (Jersey’s or Auto’s) 

Multiplayer cards will be randomized to one spot that features that player using random.com. For example if we pull a quad card with Barcelona, Madrid, AC Milan and Manchester Utd on one card, the random would look like this:

The team on the highest (1. spot) after randomizing FIVE (5) times will be the owner of the card. Upon breaker discretion, multiplayer cards exceeding 1000 AED may be subject to sharing of sales upon listing via Gulf Sportscards.

VIII. Single Cards

All single cards listed on “Cards” that are NOT graded are assumed to be in Near Mint or Better Condition (NM-MT+) unless noted otherwise. In accordance with major listing platforms including Ebay, NM-MT refers to a card condition “Comparable to a fresh pack. Flaws may include Minor corner and edge wear.” Gulf Sportscards can not guarantee each card to be in pristine condition. ALL cards therefore are non-refundable notwithstanding undisclosed flaws not in accordance with the NM-MT+ designation (e.g. Moderate creasing, Moderate to heavy edge chipping, Rounding and soft corner, Moderate discoloration). Cards listed as “Excellent” refer to cards with clearly visible wear such as fuzzy corners and moderate edge chipping. Minor scratches on toploaders/one-touch/graded slabs are not considered as part of the card condition and are not to be reason for refunds.

By using this site, you signify your assent to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to the terms of this policy, please do not use this site. We reserve the right, at our discretion, to change, modify, add, or remove portions of this policy at any time. Please check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of this Web site following the posting of changes to these terms will mean that you accept those changes. Cards without a team (USA or College Cards) When sold as a pro team break Any break that is sold by Pro team and has college or USA Players the card will go to the team the player is currently on for that particular year of product. If its a retired player it will go to the team he played the most games with. Condition of cards Gulf Sportscards INC makes no promises of condition of cards that come out of packs and or buyback. Trading cards can have flaws, dinged corners, whiting, print lines and more. These come out of the pack this way. Cards are handled multiple times by athletes and or manufactures. Buyback products that are not graded can have flaws and we do not guarantee any grade and or condition. Live Chat Trading Rules Trades must be confirmed by live chat host. We may use our discretion to confirm trades via email with both parties. If trading combo teams customer must trade both teams to be fair as spot price is equal. No Purchase Necessary. You do not have to make a purchase to have a chance to win the randomly placed cards and other items that are contained in some but not all of the card packages.  For more information, see the card manufacturer’s No Purchase Necessary statement that appears on its packages.  All mail-in entry cards must be received before the deadline set by the manufacturer or by 12/31/18, whichever is earlier. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. Gulf Sportscards can provide you with information to participate in the no purchase necessary with the manufactures 

BREAK LISTINGS/CREATIVE COMMONS Gulf Sportscards may use promotional pictures of cards to advertise their breaks on their website. Gulf Sportscards may also advertise cards/items using social media (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, e-mail, Ustream, et al.). Pictures are for demonstration purposes only and may not be indicative of product configuration or break results. Pictures in break listings may come from manufacturer sell sheets or publicly displayed/available pictures (via Google Images). Use of these pictures by Gulf Sportscards is hereby licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License. Original copyright retained by original owner(s) of product pictures (including sports card manufacturers). Use of promotional pictures originating from Gulf Sportscards (including break highlights) should comply with Gulf Sportscards’s attribution and “Share Alike” guidelines provided by Creative Commons license above.
